These fashion plates were first published in 1850 and later compiled into a book "Zur Geschichte der Costume" (On the History of Costume" published by Braun & Schneider, Munich, Germany. As they are Victorian plates, there maybe some incorrect details; nevertheless, the mood and impression are delightfully Regency, and well worth careful consideration.
